Allard + Roberts interior design is chargeable for reimagining the interiors of this spectacular modern mountain lodge in North Carolina. The unique residence was a customized home built by an area builder/developer. When the owners bought this property, they desired to put their very own mark on this glorious home.
It was filled with opulent details resembling an exposed picket frame within the lounge, walnut and oak woodwork, and stunning views of the valley below. Nevertheless, some finishes weren’t to the taste of the homeowner. These features have been adapted, together with recent furniture and chosen decorations. Proceed below for the remaining of the tour with BEFORE photos!
The designer introduced the homeowners to one in all their preferred contractors, who collaborated on the upgrade and renovation work. The primary architectural element they tackled was the backsplash within the kitchen, which was once a mobile mosaic of glass tiles.
As a substitute, they opted for silver travertine slabs for a more subdued kitchen and replaced the countertops with honed quartz for ease of maintenance and were a vivid, fresh complement to the dark oak cabinets.
They then replaced lots of the lighting fixtures with more subtle and refined options, resembling fixtures within the dining room and stairwell. Finally, they sourced furniture and decorations from regional suppliers and manufacturers in North and South Carolina.
Many features, resembling the lounge coffee/cocktail table and the dining table, were locally custom made to design specifications.
Fabrics and finishes are robust, resembling Cryptos coated dining chairs, so homeowners can enjoy their home with family and grandchildren without worrying about spills or stains.
The armchairs were acquired for the lounge and family rooms for rest and rest. All furniture throughout the home has been chosen to be comfortable and functional, yet beautiful.
To finish each space, the designer made custom beds and window decorations, and chosen artwork from local galleries to complete.
Homeowners now entertain themselves repeatedly and sometimes report the compliments they receive from guests. Their house is now transformed into a customized space where they will prepare meals and reminisce with family members.
